Heavensgate Cottage just 5 miles from the beach

A small cozy cottage style home in a quiet older but peaceful neighborhood with a community boat dock for fishing or crabbing just down the road within walking distance. Emerald Isle Beach is just 5 miles away with its beautiful beach and great public parking which includes a bathhouse and covered seating if you have had just enough sun. Our little place is equipped with beach chairs and other fun beach equipment, so you really don't have to bring anything but yourself. The space Heaven's Gate Cottage is 1175 Sq ft and equipped with a small kitchen and all the amenities you will need to prepare meals if you decide you want to stay in. The living room and dining room are an open space with WiFi and a Smart TV. There is a screened in back porch for those cooler summer nights to sit out and play cards or just read a book. There is one walk in shower and one bathtub with a shower along with a soaking tub. We also have a wheelchair ramp for easy access. The front porch is my favorite place to sit with a glass of iced tea, Southern Style of course and just watch the hummingbirds or even the neighbors as they go by. Heaven's gate is an older home but it's cozy and inviting and just waiting for you to come for a visit. Guest access Guest have access to our little beach supply shed which has beach chairs, a couple of fishing poles, sand toys etc. We are not responsible for an injury to a guest if they are injured using the beach equipment. Please only use at your risk. One more thing, the yard is big enough to park your boat if you plan on bringing it along. Other things to note We do like everyone to know that even though the address is Swansboro as we are all tied to the same mailing post office you are actually closer to the beach here than you would be if you were actually in the town of Swansboro. The exact location is Peletier NC so you are only 3.6 Miles from the Emerald Isle Bridge and another mile to the beach. Unfortunately, since you will be located so close to a wooded area and Pettiford Creek you may encounter the many species of insects NC has to offer. We do have pest control, but we can't guarantee you won't run into a few of our local pest while staying. Check in time is flexible as we will contact you as soon as Heaven's Gate is ready but no later than 3:00 but check out will be at 11:00 unless we have made other arrangements. We are asking anyone that is bringing a pet to please have them on flea protection and if they shed, we request they use the vacuum provided in the bunk room closet. We are a retired military family who understands that taking a family on vacation is not cheap but it's so important to make those memories, so we try to keep the price very reasonable for most families to afford but it's getting tougher to do this with so many pet issues.
