Description

PRIVATE RIVER ESCAPE!!! Our adorable Tiny House is nestled in the forest overlooking the Caney Fork River. It's as private as you can get, while being just a mile from highway 111. We are looking for a couple who might want to rent for the summer, and use as a weekend getaway. Have city water, electricity, and composting toilet, beautiful deck overlooking the river, plus a deck down by the river, floating dock, kayaks. 4-wheel drive required. "Find a beautiful place and get lost"! The space Because this is such a unique property, we will always take you to the cabin to provide you with an orientation. There is a steep gravel driveway, which is why we recommend a 4-wheel drive. (If you only have a 2 wheel drive, you can park at the top of the driveway and walk down.) The cabin is built on a bluff of rocks, so stone stairs lead the way down to the front door. There are also stone stairs along the side of the cabin passing by my man-made waterfall, leading to the "viewing deck" which is 10x24, and overlooks the river. From the back door of the cabin, we have a small covered porch, a few steps leading down to the "Lido Deck", and another couple of steps down to the viewing deck. From there, the land terraces down a dozen steps to the lower "lawn", where there's a campfire set up for VERY small campfires (Fire trucks CANNOT get down to our cabin!!!). And then there's a trail down to the river, where you'll find our "cocktail deck" over-hanging the river, and a floating dock. We tell you all this so you know what to expect, and so that you can decide whether you are agile enough to stay here. Guest access Only space that is not accessible is the loft (personal items being stored there) Other things to note Because this is such a unique property, we will always take you to the cabin to provide you with an orientation.
