Originally constructed in 1896, Casa Alamar exudes a certain ambiance often lacking in newer construction, but lacks none of the convenience. After a foundation-up renovation in 2012 and a design upgrades in 2020, you’ll be both charmed and comfortable in this farmhouse with a mid-century modern twist. This home was even featured on the cover of Casa Magazine! In addition to the sleeping quarters, guests will enjoy the living/dining area, which features high ceilings and a 60” smart TV, as well as a small but very functional kitchen. Don't forget about the inviting backyard area with jacuzzi spa for enjoying that wonderful indoor/outdoor Santa Barbara lifestyle! Venturing out into the neighborhood from the wrap-around porch of Casa Alamar, this neighborhood is a walkers delight: Guests will appreciate the proximity of Handlebar Coffee, which is always abuzz thanks to their reputation as the best coffee shop in town. Within easy walking distance, one can also find Tex-Mex, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Italian, and American food.
