Swim in the heated pool (SEASONAL), hot tub (open all year), Sauna, fish, kayak, bonfire, walk or bike the nearby trails, relax under the gazebo by the lake, cook at the outdoor kitchen (Seasonal)/fireplace patio .We accommodate small bachelorette parties, wedding parties and have other properties nearby for additional rentals if needed. The space Turtle Cove is unique as it combines the active lake life most would expect, but offers the wildlife you might not expect. Turtle Cove, as its called, was named because turtles come ashore each spring to lay their eggs and bathe in the sun. Some of the lily pads have been preserved to keep this area as the turtles prefer it, as well as rumored to be one of the best fishing spots on the lake. Swans nest near the cat tails on the side and we are generally the first to see their signets as they hatch each year. There is plenty of clear water to enjoy the lake and activities as well as enjoy the beauty of nature the cove offers us. The apartment you will stay in, is the walkout basement level of the house with your own access and patio with a fish pond and hot tub. While here, the yard and pool are not shared with anyone else, except hosts. (We are always working in the yard) . All interior pictures are of the apartment. Pets are allowed, there is a $100 pet fee . Guest access There is parking for 3 cars easily, 4 cars in a pinch. Guest parking is marked and straight down the driveway to the black fence. As our guests, you will have access to over an acre of fun and relaxing space. Read under the grape covered pergolas, use the outdoor kitchen and outdoor fireplace, have a bonfire, sunbath by the heated pool, warm up in the hot tub first thing in the morning or in the cooler evenings, watch the lake activities or simply nap under the gazebo. Kayaks are available to experience the water and we have life vests sizes from kids to adult. The apartment you will stay in is the walkout basement level of the house with private access, fish pond and hot tub. Other things to note There is docking space available if you rent a raft (pontoon), jet ski or boat. We can recommend rental places if needed, they generally deliver and pick up. Please give as much notice as possible to rent any water craft for availability. Pets are allowed, there is a $100 pet fee. The hosts access has a doorbell camera that shows the porch and garage,but does not show guest area. There are no cameras in guest areas including hot tub, patio and entrance.
