A sophisticated retreat in the heart of Sonoma wine country with a luxury boutique hotel feel. The Studio is located on the first floor of our two-story 100 year old farmhouse. French doors open up to a private studio on a tree-lined street between the historic Sonoma Square and the town of Glen Ellen. We’re a few minutes drive to vineyards and wineries. Our Studio has high-end amenities including a king-size Simmons Beautyrest bed and an antique cast iron soaking tub. THR20-0004 TOT: 3699N Designed and decorated with relaxation in mind, interior accents include an eclectic mix of vintage, antique and new furnishings plus original artwork. The studio features crisp white linens, plush towels, a cozy seating area including a Room and Board sectional. The wet bar has a mini fridge, with sink and large counter top to prep snacks and beverages. There is front porch with private entrance and a small garden patio with cafe table and chairs. The Studio has been fully updated with new double paned casement windows, new plumbing, new electrical, insulation and an energy efficient remote control AC / heating unit. Although we've made modern improvements, it's still a 100 year old house and you may hear some creeks. The Studio is on the ground floor of our two story home and we will most likely see each other coming and going through the front driveway. Guests have access to an off-street parking spot and an adjacent patio area. The studio is the first story of our cottage, we live on the second. You’ll have your privacy during your stay - we are here in case you need anything. We share the front parking area with our guests and we may see each other coming and going. We love exploring the Sonoma Valley and surrounding areas and are happy to suggest restaurants and places to visit. We are on a quiet tree-lined street in a friendly and laid-back neighborhood. It's a great place for scenic and hilly walks and morning jogs. There are several neighborhood restaurants a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the Studio, including El Molino Central, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants with ample outdoor seating. Or, get your BBQ on at the nearby Cochon Volant Smoke House (featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives). Coffee shops and two handmade ice cream parlors are close by and it's a 10 minute walk to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. The Michelin-starred Glen Ellen Star Plus Sonoma Square shops and restaurants are each a 10 minute drive away. Within one block of Sonoma Square there are over 30 wine tasting rooms, over 25 amazing restaurants, a variety of shops and more. A park for kids and picnics, events, food and wine tours and historical sightseeing. There is off-street parking for one car - pull through the gate and turn left into your spot on the gravel driveway. Bike lanes on Highway 12 connect you to the main Sonoma bike paths. There are countless neighborhood walks with expansive views of the valley and vineyards. Easy access to Highway 12 and Sonoma and Napa valley wineries.
