Bright, clean & cheerful 3 bedroom cottage located on Mississippi Lake. Located only 5 minutes from Carleton Place and 30 mins to Kanata. Perfect for kayaking, floating on the water, or relaxing in the sun. Shallow water off the dock, mostly sandy bottom and safe for small children. Large yard provides a nice space to play games, enjoy a campfire, or nap on the hammock. Great for small families or couples. The beautiful sunsets are free! (no pets please, no parties no smoking inside) The space Enjoy your stay at this well appointed cottage. It comes with almost everything you need for a relaxing getaway! What we supply for outdoors: 1. 6 large Adirondack style lawn chairs (see photos) 2. A hammock 3. Large lily pad for the lake 4. Wood and kindling for a few campfires 5. Water noodles, some inflatables 6. Two kayaks and paddles 7. BBQ & propane 8. Full 6 seat patio set with umbrella 9. Clothesline 10. Outdoor games: frisbee, ladder ball and a few more. 11. There is a secure shed for all the garbage and recycling. What to bring: Please bring your own beach towels, life jackets and water shoes. You are welcome to bring any additional outdoor games, water toys etc. that you like. What we supply for indoors: 1. All bed linens 2. Bathroom towels 3. Some toilet paper, paper towels, and tissue 4. Vacuum & broom, cleaning supplies 5. Super-duper water treatment system, water is safe to drink 6. The kitchen comes fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, mugs, dishes, tupperware, dish cloths, dish towels, dish rack, dish soap etc... 7. Comes with toaster, stove, microwave, electric kettle, drip coffee pot & filters, and a tiny blender. 8. Some items for cooking: salt pepper, some pre-mixed spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sugar and coffee. 9. 3 ceiling fans and one or two floor fans. 10. There is no AC but it usually is quite comfortable at night if you keep blinds down during the day. But if you wish to bring more fans feel free. 11. Several board games and playing cards. 12. WIFI, Smart TV, DVD player 13. Some citronella candles, mini lanterns with tea lights, and mosquito burning coils. What to bring: You will need to bring all of your own food, drinks and ice. Maybe an extra cooler for the drinks so they don't take up too much room in the fridge. Other things to note Arrival/Departure Helpful information and instructions will be left to help you with your stay. 1. Upon check out we look for the cottage to be completely swept out and left neat and tidy just as you found it. 2. We ask that all garbage is emptied from the cottage and put into the shed. 3. Please remove all food from fridge and cupboards that you brought with you. 4. Please put the BBQ cover back on, tuck in patio chairs, lower umbrella and stack all lawn chairs. Place camp fire cover on fire pit. 6. Please close all of the windows and screen door windows. 7. Please don't leave any of your belongings behind.
