Our Studio + 1 Bedroom Apt is everyone’s favorite! Backyard privacy, large windows, and spectacular views of the valley with the gold dome and steeples and Camels Hump Mountain range. It is perfect for small families, couples or business travelers. Explore the nation's smallest capital while being centrally located to near many famous destinations nearby! The space The apartment has lots of light from the windows, and faces southwest for terrific sunsets. The backyard is private and there is the feeling of being out in the country, while being very close to downtown. The little bedroom is perfect for couples traveling with children, or a second couple. The apartment has been furnished with original art from Mexico and Scandinavian countries, books, and kid toys. We have a plentiful supply as I have 4 grown children, so you can travel light! Our guests really love the kitchen, and we have made a big effort to think of everything you might need to cook a great meal, including a gas stove. Our house has two other apartments, and if you need more space please ask about booking them, as well as our conference room/dining space. Guest access You will have access to the back yard, barbecue and enjoy sharing them with us and our family, as well as our other guests. We have several kayaks to loan in the summer, and snowshoes and nordic skis in winter. I will message you after booking to orient you about directions and picking up your keys. Other things to note Hello - Vermont issues updated safe-travel county guidelines which are updated every Friday. Please check accd vermont gov in order to find out if you can travel here. All guests are asked to sign the compliance document, which can be found online. Please do NOT arrive after 11pm as you will not be able to check in and will forfeit the night. This policy ensures all guests can get a good night's rest. If you arrive after 9:30pm I will give you checkin instructions and greet you in the morning. This is a lovely quiet neighborhood, and the backyard is private and a sanctuary. The apartment is not the right choice for a party or loud music as I try to keep a "zen" space here for creativity and meditation. We ask our guests to observe quiet hours between 9pm and 9am inside and outside. If you are planning a small gathering in the yard please feel welcome.
