Shire Chalet

Enjoy serene, country views from a comfortable, cozy home. Beautifully situated above a horse pasture with a sweeping pond below. Only 7 minutes to the Great Allegheny Passage! 17 miles to Flight 93 Memorial, and 27 miles to Seven Springs and Hidden Valley ski slopes! There is also a local Amish community only 10 minutes South, with local produce and handiwork. We have a working farm next door with sheep, horses, cats, dogs, and occasional kittens and puppies you may be able to greet. The space There are acres and acres of farmland that can be accessed on foot. Hiking and cross country skiing are welcome! Please request a farm map. Guest access The whole home except the attic is available. Hundreds of acres of open farmland. The farm buildings are off limits unless you are on a chaperoned tour. Other things to note We raise Bernese Mountain Dogs that you may see outside. We also have a small herding shepherd who follows my children where they may go.
