The space Only 25 min. from Huntsville Atv'ing right from the cottage- you have easy access to the Sequin trail which you can ride to Parrysound or if you head the opposite way you can hook up with the Kearney trails. Winter in Muskoka- The cottage is winterized and available year round and is a great place for winter fun such as: x-country skiing, snowshoeing or just hiking. Bring your own equipment or rent locally. Close to the snowmobile trail so great for a snowmobile getaway. You are also a short drive from Arrowhead park which offers an ice skating trail, cross country skiing and tubing in the winter. The town of Sprucedale which is just a short drive has a great covered ice surface for public skating available for your use for free. Downhill skiing at Hidden Valley Ski resort is about a 45 min. drive from the cottage and a great way to spend the day with the family on the slopes. This lake was apart of a Ministry stock about 15 + years ago so there are some good size Walleye in the lake. There are fishing boat rentals from Huntsville Marine which you can easily dock at your own private dock. If you are bringing your own boat there is a public boat launch just down the road from the cottage. The cottage includes a canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboard for your use along with a swim raft for the kids to swim out to and enjoy hours of fun on the water. There is a large grassy yard great for kicking around a soccer ball, playing catch and frisbee or setting up a volleyball/badminton net. Beautiful views right down the lake.
