The rates shown on Airbnb only reflect the Weekly and Monthly Discounts. Meraki's two structures are great for family reunions or company retreats. Some like to retire early and some like to party late; no problem at Meraki. It is somewhat secluded; one neighbor next door; a wooded lot on the other side. There is a large fire pit on the bank of the river. Gently sloping river bottom is great for toddlers (supervised, of course). Large grill; propane tank and a full spare. With cooperation between guests at both properties, guests can leave a car at our second property and do a 1.5 hour float there, exit and drive back, without paying the KP Hole (county park) $25/person fee to get into the water. Also, to launch there, they require you to use their tube. Pets are welcome at Meraki, subject to a $100 non-refundable Pet Fee. You'll need your car for a stay at Meraki. It has a large lot - lots of parking space even for a boat trailer or extra cars. We live in Jacksonville, 2.5 hours away from Meraki and Chimera, so we aren't available in person. However, we enjoy hearing from our guests and are available to answer questions about the house, the river, Dunnellon, or other things to do in the area. Obviously, the Rainbow River is the attraction. While there, however, you might want to check out "Orange Blossom Trail Riding" for a horseback ride into the Florida Goethe State Forest. Your stay will require an automobile. The Airbnb site doesn't include Multiple Night or Off Season Discounts - Inquire for pricing. We have two (2) RV hookups for electricity - No dump tanks. Guests staying in an RV on the property are included when calculating Extra Guest Charge. Ellen, our cleaning lady, lives in Dunnellon and is available should you need something. Meraki is a great site for weddings and she can help w/ catering, chairs, decorations, etc.
