Private and peaceful, yet just minutes to great local dining, shopping and outdoor recreation. The historic downtown and river are an easy 6 minute drive into the heart of old Bend. Spacious 3 room suite-living makes longer stays comfy! No shared interior spaces. Our extensive gardens, gazebos, grills, firepits are shared and open for guest use! The space The Garden Sweet offers you the comfort of private entrance so you can come and go as you like and the wonderful outdoor space makes it unique and very Bend. There is not a full kitchen in this apartment (no stove/oven), but the microwave and mini fridge makes it super convenient for snacks and drinks, there is a coffee maker and coffee bar set up for mornings, and an outdoor garden propane BBQ exclusively for guest use year round. Enjoy the living space for relaxing or work, with a (separate attached) King bedroom. Lots of cute and comfortable space! We invite you to come live like a local. Though this suite is attached to a residential home, they only share a common wall, similar to townhouses. You have your own entrance, heating system controls, living areas, bathroom, etc that are unshared by the hosts (a retired couple, no pets living on the property). No interior spaces are shared. The outdoor areas and grounds are shared, but expansive! It is not hardship to find a quiet little private spot to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine and private conversation. There is an EV electric charger for your electric car, available for guest use. GUEST MUST LET US KNOW PRIOR TO ARRIVAL! There is a $10 per day surcharge that will need to be paid prior to access. Weekly and monthly discounted rates for this service are available. Guest access You will have private access to your apartment (includes a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and fridge/microwave), all outdoor yard and garden space, gazebos, firepits, and gas BBQ, as well as to the new HOT TUB on the patio right outside your door. The added treat of fresh strawberries and grape tomatoes picked from the garden during the summer months make this suite very sweet indeed. Other things to note We have a lovely farmers garden with raised fruit and veggie beds, and a full 1/2 acre of beautiful flowers, shrubs, and trees, dotted with gazebos, a small canal cascading through, outdoor dining, private gas BBQ for guest use, and of course the ever-popular hot tub right outside your private entrance. Our guests are always welcome to graze on fresh berries, fruit, and veggies as they desire. Its really pretty much a small slice of heaven. All you have to do is make yourself at home.
