Private room includes queen sized bed, television with Roku, coffee maker, private full bath, adjustable ceiling fan and space heater, and USB lamps on nightstands. Your room is located on the first floor of our home, so there are no stairs required to access the room. This is an older home, so the room does 'sleep cold' in the winter. We provide a space heater, but you should keep that in mind if you're used to sleeping in very warm rooms. You have access to a TV, Netflix and Hulu accounts (no cable). Free wifi is available. Free on-street parking available; driveway parking available when street parking is not allowed due to nearby events. Guest access The guest suite is accessible through our front door. Due to COVID, guests are not allowed in common spaces including kitchen, dining room, and living room. Guests are still permitted to use our backyard and patios. Guests are NOT permitted upstairs. Please wear a mask when entering and exiting our home. During your stay We're happy to share our love of Dayton with you if you need recommendations for restaurants, pubs, activities, etc. We're a busy, young couple with a toddler and are often in and out of our home, so it’s easiest to reach us via the AirBnb app! Ruth and George both work from home during the day. Because of COVID, we will limit guest interactions. We request that you wear a mask when entering and exiting our home because our son is too young to be vaccinated. Other things to note We welcomed our son in April 2020. You’ll hear us playing during the day, preparing meals, and eating meals/snacks in the dining room. He’s a toddler, so he’s not necessarily quiet! We try our best to respect quiet hours of 9pm to 7am, but at 7am he'll be downstairs with us making breakfast and making noise as toddlers do! We also have a small (adorable and fluffly) mini goldendoodle named Irving who loves everyone. He's very friendly, but when guests are in the house, we keep him upstairs or separated by a gate. He's hypoallergenic - Ruth is allergic to dogs and he doesn't bother her, but use your own judgement before booking. Your room is off-limits to Irving (although he'll try to sneak in if the door isn't closed!). Please DO NOT book this listing if you are booking for another person (friend, family member, etc.).
