This Resort offers unparalleled opportunities for relaxation amid stunning scenery down in the valley of Oak Creek (southern Sedona area) with shops The space The 2BR Lockoff is a 1BR condo plus an attached Studio condo that they sometimes rent separately but with this listing you get both. The 1BR side has a King bed in the Master Bedroom, Queen sleeper sofa in the Living Room, full size kitchen and dining area with a balcony plus an attached Studio unit with a Queen bed and another Queen sleeper sofa right next to each other with a small kitchenette and another balcony. This rental provides a total of (1) King bed, (1) Queen bed and (2) Queen Sleeper Sofas in 3 sleeping areas total. They are memory foam sleeper sofas. Super Comfy. The resort will also collect separately (at checkout) a $15/nt resort fee per reservation which includes parking, wifi and access to amenities during your stay. Guest access Check in begins at 4 pm but if you arrive in town prior to that by all means, visit the front desk and say hi. If your villa is ready they will be happy to check you in early and give you the keys. If not, you can explore the area while they finish cleaning and preparing for your arrival. = : ) 24 Hour front desk. If there is any danger of arriving near midnight or later definitely call the front desk. Their computers cancel people as no show at midnight unless front desk staff throws a flag in their system the day of arrival. Front desk is option 5 on their phone system when you call. Check out is always 10 am. The front desk will usually allow a late checkout until noon before they start adding new charges and an additional nite. It is entirely up to them and how badly they need to get into your unit to clean up before the next incoming guest. Ask about your options for late check out when you arrive. = ; ) The front desk has complete control over unit assignments, cleaning and maintenance. This is a Diamond Resorts International property and the front desk will collect a FULLY REFUNDABLE $300 damage security deposit prior to check in. The deposit must be made on a major credit card. Cash and pre-paid- and/or debit cards are not accepted for the security depsit. This will merely be an "authorization" which will expire unused within a few days. (None of my guests have ever caused damage inside any of the condos = : ) Resort fees, room charges and on site purchases are welcome to any means of purchase (Major CC, cash, debit etc all are welcome for room charges.) Other things to note Sedona offers a rich night sky: it is a place where on cloudless nights the Milky Way is not just visible but cuts a wide and naturally bright swath across the sky. Per City of Sedona ordinance, lighting throughout the whole city is restricted and kept at a minimum. Please be aware of this when traveling at night. For Sedona newcomers PLEASE NOTE There is practically Z-E-R-O Cell phone service anywhere in Sedona! The town council teases that is is from the magical red rocks and energy vortices but we all know it is restrictive policies that mean there is never a tower when you need one. Wi-fi at the resorts is also patchy and not helpful when occupancy is high (the resorts have hundreds of condos all on the same system.) The HOA is struggling with the commercial wi-fi system provider to fix holes and increase capacity but this is becoming a long term struggle that we hope will be fixed soon. Do not plan on a working vacation unless you can be in the Busines Center inside the clubhouse where wi-fi is strong. They do not have any private offices, sorry. The resort fee includes amenities such as wi-fi even when the wi-fi is useless. When in Sedona plan to unplug and unwind because wherever you still you will have little choice = : ) Housekeeping services are only provided for stays of five or more nights. A mid-week cleaning (vacuum, trash removal, replenishment of towels and amenities) will be provided after your third night stay. A stay-over clean-up (full services) is provided after your sixth night stay.
