Relax and recharge on our small, organic farmstead while enjoying the majestic sunsets over Mesa Verde. This year, we are focusing on gorgeous flowers to brighten the view! The 14 x16 glamping tent has everything you need for a cozy stay - a woodstove, a queen-sized bed, solar lighting, electric blanket, and a pair of Adirondack chairs for late-night star-gazing. A private bathhouse offers a HOT SHOWER, sink, and composting toilet. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the outdoor camping kitchen. The space The glamping tent is on a three-acre organic farm and orchard. This year, we are taking a year off from growing vegetables and will be planting cover crop to help support the soil. We can't resist growing flowers though, so there will be plenty of beautiful buds and blooms! You will have views of the fields with Mesa Verde in the background. And at night, the Milky Way is on full display! You have your own private entrance to the farm and tent. Since this is a functioning farm, there are sharp objects, pokey weeds, and tender plants. So, we ask that you do not tour the farm unless you talk to us first. Camper and Oliver are our two big, gregarious farm dogs that live on the property. They will most likely come say hello during your visit. You also might catch a glimpse of our flock of goofy guinea fowls! If you are interested on one of the amazing guided tours of the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde, you will now need to reserve a spot. They will sell-out! Guest access There is parking in front of the gated entrance to the tent. Other things to note Verizon cell phones will not have service on the farm. There is an electric power strip in the tent for charging devices. There is also an electric fan and electric blanket if needed.
