Pine wall and ceiling paneling throughout, as well as amazing views of the lake, provides the perfect cabin setting. One of the two bedrooms on the main floor has a sliding-door walk-out, putting you literally steps from the lake! We have modern amenities such as high-speed WiFi, a 50" TV in the main living area and 50" TV in the bedroom in the loft. A gas fireplace warms the entire cabin in a few minutes, but additional wall heaters are available in each bedroom on extra chilly nights. An air conditioner is also available for the heat of summer when the breeze from the lake just doesn't cut it. We allow up to 2 pets. You must select the number of pets you are bringing at the time of booking. If you neglect to select the number of pets at the time of booking, and you bring them anyway, you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund. Our cabin is located on the south part of Lake Chetek and is less than a mile to the downtown area, where you can find several boutiques, bars, restaurants, and amazing pizza. In fact, our favorite pizza in Chetek is made at Red's Grill & Bar, only one block from the cabin! Red's is a very popular place for live entertainment and great food. For those looking for some beach time, or a place to take the kids; We have Chetek's public beach and park directly next door, literally on the other side of the cabin's fence! Chetek has the perfect small town vibe that thrives on lake activities. If you're looking for a getaway from the fast-paced lifestyle, Chetek is the perfect place to visit! Bring your toys! Our cabin is located on public ATV/Snowmobile trails. For ATV riders: The Dallas Trail is said to be one of the nicest trails to ride by other Barron County ATV clubs. You can go from Chetek to Dallas for a nice, short ride for lunch and back. For a longer ride you can make the circle from Chetek to Dallas, Dallas to Barron, Barron to Cameron and Cameron back to Chetek. You also could go west of Barron on the Cattail State Trail to the county’s 40 acre intensive use area called “the playground”, where there is riding for all ages. For Snowmobilers: Barron County has over 250 miles of groomed and well-marked snowmobile trails. The trailhead of the Tuscobia State Trail, a 76-mile abandoned railroad bed, begins just north of Rice Lake and ends in Park Falls.
