Watch stellar sunsets on the private patio. Wake up to experience unbelievable morning sunrise over Mt Baker. The space This charming little cottage is the original farmhouse built in 1920's. The fully updated, modern farmhouse style will help you enjoy this step back in time. Bring a good book, while you experience serenity as you enjoy the expansive abundant wildlife, and ambiance of the Pacific Northwest. The cottage features a private entrance away from the main farm house. The North facing private patio and garden overlooking the fields, wetlands, conifers and Canadian Rockies. See and explore the farm, as new energy transforms this retired dairy. *********while booking, please use password found at the end.***** Located in the county centrally to Bellingham, Lynden, and Ferndale. It is a 10-15 minute commute to Bellis Fair Mall, multiple grocery stores, and the 1-5. Live simply while having the cities of Whatcom county at your disposal. The little cottage features a private entrance, and faces away from the other residences on the property. Each room of the cottage has its own exterior entrance/exit, with the living area/kitchen and bedroom each featuring full-lite double doors and a privacy glass door in the bathroom/laundry room. In the main living area, you’ll find a full entertainment center with a flat screen TV. Smoking is aloud outside away from doors and windows. We can find a sheltered space during inclement weather. The open concept kitchen area has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, double stainless sink with sprayer faucet, apartment-size oven with electric stovetop, plus all the basic essentials for your cooking and outdoor grilling needs! Butcher-block countertops and thoughtful lighting add to the modern farmhouse feel! In addition, vaulted ceilings with skylights, tasteful blackout curtains and comfy area rugs, plus minimal and tasteful modern farmhouse decor create a cozy ambiance and practical living space for you to comfortably enjoy! Located behind the Main Farmhouse. This retired farm has transformed into a space where memories are created. We are continuing to expand our renovations into creative spaces for accommodations. We do our best to utilize locally salvaged old growth wood, so the large wood doors are HEAVY. The repurposed wood bathroom vanity, the drawers don't slide well. Exterior doors swing out (popular with outdoor living) however, they can catch wind on blustery days. We DO NOT provide or allow 'flushable' wipes. Please respect septic limitations and place feminine supplies into trash can provided. We can provide a queen air mattress for the living-room upon request for up to 2 additional guests. Message for any additional questions. for guest with Allergies, we use an Industrial Grade Air Purification System in between guest. ****to ensure you've read through, when booking Message "you got it" ****** Guest access Guests have a parking spot designated for them. Guests will receive check in instructions prior to arrival. Other things to note On our retired dairy farm we have free range chickens and a friendly cat, Goose, and dogs. We are an operating event venue and give tours weekly, so you may see people come and go. We never rent out this space to guests during a private event, unless it is apart of the event itself.
