Artist's Retreat, Entire House 1/2 Block from OU

A very unique artist’s house built in 1936, only half a block from the University of Oklahoma. Featuring colorful and artistic decor throughout, a large fenced yard with a small decorative pond in the backyard, and ample parking in front. There are three steps up to the front door. We welcome dogs but are not able to accommodate cats. Guest access Guest have access to the entire ground floor of the house and the yard. This includes three bedrooms, one full bathroom with shower/tub, living room, kitchen, and dining room. The (unoccupied) basement apartment and side buildings on the property are not accessible to guests. Other things to note The house has lots of house plants, and bird feeders you can view from the dining room windows. The decorative pond offers the relaxing sound of water flowing. Because we are close to the university on a main street, you can sometimes expect to hear traffic noise, such as on game days or around Commencement. We're on a leafy lot and set back from the road, and typically guests find the location and parking desirable.
