A beautiful and quiet family friendly log cabin home situated on 26 private acres with gorgeous White Mountain views. Located in the heart of the Western Mountains and Lakes Region of Maine. Close to lakes for boating and fishing, mountains for hiking and skiing (Shawnee Peak/Pleasant Mountain and Moose Pond within 10 minutes). North Conway site seeing, shopping and dining within a half hour drive West. Sebago and Naples, Maine within a 20 minutes drive East. The space **This home has undergone certification for the enhanced five-step cleaning process to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety for guests during your stay.** This spacious house comfortably sleeps 10-12 with individual beds (one queen bed in master bedroom, 4 bunk beds and a futon lower level, 2 daybeds with pull out trundles in loft) with additional room in large living room to accommodate more guests. 1 1/2 baths, full kitchen with all appliances and necessities needed, large kitchen table for family dining, screened in porch, washer and dryer, Apple TV/wi-fi, indoor family games, outdoor games (corn hole, basketball, horseshoes), use of kayaks and canoe kept on property, large deck area, charcoal and gas grille and a large fire pit for outdoor entertaining. On property and available to use May thru November (weather permitting) with your reservation is “The Garden Barn.” “The Garden Barn” is slightly removed from the main house and is a great area to hold small rustic and casual gatherings or events such as small weddings, bachelorette/bachelor or birthday parties. This space has a dining table, additional seating and rustic bar for entertaining. Additional decor and service items for these events are available on premise for rent. Rental list is available upon requests. **Events must be disclosed at time of reservation so further accommodations can be discussed if necessary. Number of guests must also be disclosed if more than 12 as there will be a charge for additional guests** There is a welcome book provided for guests which clearly describes everything you’ll need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. **THIS HOME IS NOT RECOMMENDED LOUD GATHERINGS!** Guest access The entire house, backyard area and Garden Barn (May-November). Other things to note This property is NOT recommended for loud gatherings as the house is in a quiet neighborhood. ***There is NO smoking of any kind in the house. If smoking occurred or there are indications of smoking which include vape pens, e-cigarettes, marijuana, cigars, cigarettes, pipes etc there will be an additional $500 cleaning fee charged to your reservation. There are Ring Cameras on property. The cameras are located on the front door facing the porch entrance, driveway entrance and backyard area. The cameras are on and record at all times. I do get notifications when there is motion. The property is treated for ticks and mosquitos in spring and summer months however in nature and on property you will find insects, critters and wildlife. In winter months, please be aware of ice and falling snow on roof ledges and walkways.
