Spacious, fully functional room in a charming early 20th century villa by Lake Bermij

This studio room is located in the semi-basement of a beautiful 1904 home on the lake walk. The semi-basement has been retrofitted to reflect the rustic backcountry northern Minnesota style and has its separate entry and lock for privacy. This spacious room is equipped with a sitting area as well as a kitchenette. There is also a full size futon to accommodate a group of three. Private bathroom is across from the laundry room. The space This spacious studio has room for everyone to stretch. The sitting area is furnished with a reclining couch, a lounge chair and a coffee table. The kitchenette is equipped with a kitchen sink, a microwave, a toaster, a mini fridge, a coffee pot and electric burner upon request. There are dishwares and silverwares in the kitchen cabinet, and a table for you to dine or work on. The private bathroom is just across from the room next to the laundry room, equipped with shower essentials and completely to yourself. Though located in our house, other than some noise that transfers from floor to ceiling, this studio room feels like a place all to yourself. This is one of the two rooms we rent out in the basement. You may book both for a larger group. Guest access You are welcomed to use the laundry room. During your stay We are a busy family with small children, so we can't always be around to check you in or out, but we do love to interact whenever we can! At the very least we will definitely make local recommendations, and we are always available to answer any questions in person or via texts. Other things to note This is a safe space in a family-friendly neighborhood. And we, a family of four live upstairs. There will be children’s noises transferred through the ceiling. We might have guests in the unit next to you at then same time. The host is fluent in English and in Mandarin Chinese.
