Duck, NC is the most perfect part of the OBX to vacation! The space Welcome! Our cottage lies in a popular area of Duck, NC, just a few minutes walk to downtown and 7 houses from the ocean! We are close enough that you can hear the waves crash most days. The cottage has two full levels of wrap around decking, allowing for a beautiful view and place to enjoy the Carolina sun during the day and the stars at night. The cottage provides 1,700 square feet of living space with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The Master and Bunk Bedroom have their own private entrance with sliding glass doors that open to the deck. After a long day at the beach, you can enjoy a refreshing shower in the oversized outdoor shower area. The kitchen, living, and dining room showcase an open concept that is perfect for entertaining and gathering. The dining room table is equipped to seat 10 guests comfortably and there is a sofa table/bar that seats an additional 3. The kitchen comes complete with all of your cooking and dining needs, including a Keurig and Ninja Blender! We also have a private concrete half basketball court for a fun family game! Our cottage is on a quiet and friendly street. Although we live on the other side of the bridge in Currituck, our extended family lives on the street and we consider every neighbor a close friend. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTICE: we do not provide any linens/sheets, comforters, towels, etc. Ocean Atlantic Rentals would be our first pick for rentals though! They are able to deliver linens straight to the house. Moneysworth Beach Equipment & Linen Rentals may also be an option. Please be advised: majority of vacation rentals in the Outer Banks do not offer towels or linens. This is because the turnaround time for cleaning the home and preparing it for the next guest is often so short. While we do offer some comforters, we encourage guests to bring their own. Please let me know if you have any additional questions! Our home is on a lovely street and is only a 1 to 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute bike ride to town. In an attempt to compensate for the lack of linens, we do offer beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, and a kayak, so that you do not have to bring your own.
