Happy Days Chalet and Devonly Days Chalet - Entire 4 person 2 bedroom self-catering holiday rentals, each sit in a row of chalets with private entrance, fully self-contained, Dartmouth harbour1.5 miles. Free Parking, dog and smoke-free, Freeview TV, In 22 acres of quiet parkland, with picnic tables and fine countrysde views. Dartmoor National Park, fine beaches nearby. Buses stop at park entrance.The leisure centre, Park-and-ride and supermarket are 0.5miles away.. The space Happy Days Chalet and Devonly Days Chalet. Rent is for one entire 4-person, 2-bedroom holiday home, well equipped with room heaters, its own modern kitchen, living /dining room and bathroom, all completely self-contained and with private entrance from the Park. Parking is on site is free, no reservation required. There is no wi-fi, but we have generally good mobile smartphone 4g reception suitable for linking to a tablet or tv screen. Our chalets are in separate rows 100 yds apart, the same size, South facing, identical and to the same high standard, same facilities. Each chalet has 1 double bedroom, carpeted, including double bed for 2 people and also one twin bedroom, carpeted, with a modern triple bunkbed comprising a double bed with a single bed on top. Clean bed linen, bathmat and towels are provided at the start of each rental. The chalet is serviced between rentals only. Linen changing, cleaning and sanitising is carried out by professional cleaners who run a laundry on the local industrial estate. The Kitchens are well equipped, with kettle, toaster, cutlery and utensils, crockery, pans, glasses, ceramic hob, oven and microwave. The bathrooms contain a modern shower cubicle with glass door, wash-hand basin and toilet. There is a large utility cupboard with shelves, housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. The homely Lounge diners include luxurious cream leather sofas and a dining table with 4 chairs. There is a foldable outside table with foldable seats in the utility cupboard- for Park use only. Electricity is via a meter which takes pound coins, set at around cost price. Avarage £2-4 per day in Summer, 5-8 per day in Winter. Please remember to bring coins with you. The park is discretely lit, however a small torch or mobile light is advisable for safer access, and for reading the key locker combination if you arrive after dark. Upon arrival, chalet keys are accessed via a small key locker box next to the front door. The locker combination code will be texted or e-mailed to you close to the arrival date, once funds are secured. Compared to local hotel prices, our chalet overall costs are extremely competitive, however. The local main roads in South Devon often have no verges or pavements and walking on them requires care, so a car is advisable for Norton Park. Buses do stop at the Park entrance, however. Whilst we will not always be available at the chalet site in person, there is a local Site Manager, we live locally and are contactable, should any problems arise.
