Additionally, our location serves as a perfect vacation site to explore the many historic landmarks of the Shenandoah Valley and its vast natural beauty. The farm can be enjoyed year round. The owners really like being at the farm during the winter months as the Mid Atlantic usually has fairly mild winters so during the day it's warm enough to be outside and hike without the bugs and thorn bushes scratching you and you come back at night and enjoy huddling around the fireplaces at night. During the winter months, the owners will provide a full refund if one of those rare snow storms hit the area and prevent safe travel.
