Bermuda Blue is a modern, beach side retreat in the heart of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, a small walkable beach town known for its restaurants, shopping, wide beach, diving & snorkeling. We are 1 block from the beach & fishing pier, and half a block from the town center, restaurants, Ice cream, bars w. live music and shops. We have four modern rental 1/1 garden apartments, all similar in size & design. Location: 1 block S.of Comm. blvd. E. side of Ocean Dr. (across from Walgreen) Bermuda Blue is an oasis in the heart of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Dreamed up by a brother and sister construction/design team, Bermuda Blue is thoroughly modern with a clean aesthetic. Construction was just completed in 2019 built to the highest construction standards. All windows are impact resistant and noise reducing with blackout shades. The bedroom consists of 1 KING size bed with a brand-new memory foam mattress. The 2nd and 3rd beds are futon style sofa bed, they measure about 44" wide & 67 " long, they are on the firm side, during the day, they are the 2 blue sofas in living room as shown in photos, at night can be converted to futon sleeper, ok for few nights sleep, may meant for young kids & not for adults. There are four rental units available. We have one handicap accessible unit PLEASE SPECIFY IN YOUR REQUEST IF YOU REQUIRE THIS TYPE OF A UNIT. All linens and bath towels are provided, as well as a set of beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella. Recognized as “South Florida’s Beach Diving Capital,” the Town's shoreline is a mecca for scuba divers with coral reefs teeming with marine life less than 100 yards off the beach. It’s super easy to snorkel or dive right from our sandy beach and go nose to nose with fish, turtles and lobsters (divers walking through Town is very common here) - and of course fishing from our historic pier over the ocean is our most iconic place to visit. We are also designated a “Blue Wave Beach,” a distinction given to clean and environmentally-responsible beach communities. You can kayak, paddle board, skim and kite board right off of our beaches as well. For more leisurely activities, picnic in our seaside parks, soak up the sun on the beach, or relax poolside at your hotel with the scented breeze reminding you of just how close you are to the ocean. Now back to no car needed in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea – we offer bike rentals, our free “around Town” Pelican Hopper bus, and the Sun Trolley, which can take you to Fort Lauderdale beach, popular shopping spots, and connect you with other things to do in Fort Lauderdale and nearby. You don’t need a car to enjoy our charming seaside village - everything you need for your beach vacation is conveniently located within a few steps of our property. But if you do decide to have a car, there is a dedicated parking spot for one car for each apartment. There is plenty of additional parking in the public parking lot right next door.
