Situated just 15 minutes from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor & Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti... this house is perfect for small or large groups who want space and comfort. Bonuses include a variety of instruments to play/practice and a nearby park for walking/running. Back deck looks out over a nature reserve providing a lovely backdrop for coffee/tea (which are included). Location is car dependent (no buses/bike lanes). Lift/Uber/Taxi to downtown Ann Arbor estimate is $15-$20. The space More privacy than most AirB&Bs. If you just want to sleep somewhere clean and comfortable without feeling you are in the way or obligated to be social - this is your oasis. Plenty of rooms, internet, musical instruments, and relaxed/low maintenance hosts. After that, we might not interact again depending on our work schedule and your plans while in town. Self Check In: When we are away, we'll leave a key in a lock box for you and we'll be in phone contact when you arrive should you have any questions. Other things to note My husband and I have enjoyed sharing our house with experienced airbnb members. We are happy to host for events at the universities, football games, and/or just for vacations to see family. We have recently become super hosts and take pride in our home and the comfort of our guests. If you have stayed with us before, please note that we have made updates before booking another stay. Updates include: An infant! Drew and I are expecting June 2018, so any reservations made after that, please know that if we are home during your stay, there will be an infant in the house. Because of the house set up, our bedroom/bathroom wing is separated quite nicely, but their will still be potential for baby sounds and additional noise. A TV! It was recommended by previous guests that have stayed with us that we add a TV. We now have separated our once full music space into a shared Music & TV Room. This is also the space that has a twin bed, two couches, and if needed a full size floor mattress. A Walk Out Basement! Our basement is unfinished, but we have set it up to accommodate larger groups and overflow (see pictures above). The basement includes one twin/full bed and an extra twin bed. It also has access to wifi and a projection screen for movies & television. There is no bathroom in the basement, so guests will have to use the half bathroom on the main floor or the full bathroom on the second floor. Our house is located off I-94, and approximately a 15 minute drive into downtown Ann Arbor. An estimated Lyft/Uber/Taxi from our house to downtown Ann Arbor is $15-20 dollars for four people during regular hours. We are very much into food and coffee. We don't have a coffee maker, but we do have a french press (with directions). We'd be happy to recommend our favorite spots in Ypsi/Arbor. Most guests use our WIFI for online streaming on their devices. Although we have fast internet (70 Mbps), large groups can sometimes slow or stall the network (just a heads up! :)
