It’s time to sit back and relax, it’s time to create fabulous memories that will be laughed about all year. It’s time to jump in the lake, just a few steps from the door. Our Floating Cabin (aka The Flabin) sleeps 6 comfortably with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to hang out. Fish, read, swim, play games, snack, boat or nap, you decide. The Flabin is equipped with family games, a blue-ray player with a stack of movies, a Keurig coffee station, towels and linens. Live, Love Lake! The space A few notables. Our kitchen is equiped with most everything you could need including crockpot, toaster, trash compactor. The covered outdoor hangout area includes a firepit and table that easily seats 6 - 8. If you are bringing children, you must remember that this is a floating house, in the water. There is not a fence between the house and the water. Children have a fantastic time here, but we highly recommend that young ones wear a life jacket while on the docks. Some families have required life jackets at all times for children. Our Flabin is not a place for groups to party. It is a quiet retreat, perfect for a couples retreat, girls trip or is perfect for fisherman, but not a fit for larger groups. If you plan to have more people at the Flabin during the day than you register with, you must let us know. The number of people effects pump outs and we may need to charge a fee. So unless we hear from you, if you book 4 people we assume you will only have 4 people hanging out. Need to Know: - You may want to bring drinking water. Water from the tap, fridge and icemaker is spring water. We drink it, the locals drink it, but if you feel uncomfortable at all you should bring drinking water with you. - We will start you off with some paper towels and ziplocs, but you may need to bring more. - We will provide the toilet paper for our marine toilet. - Absolutely no pets. This is imperative as we have family with severe allergies. There will be a minimum $500 cleaning fee if a pet has stayed in our place. - We do not have WiFi at this time, AT&T connects perfectly. - No Smoking or Vaping inside our home. Preferably no smoking anywhere. But if you must, please choose an exterior area away from doors and windows. - We have family with nut allergies, serious ones. Please carefully clean up after yourself when eating/cooking with nuts. Even outdoors. Also please do not eat any items containing nuts on the couch, it’s harder to clean nut oils from fabric. Yes the allergy is that serious. Guest access You will have full use of our floating home. We don’t live too far away and will be available if you need us. Other things to note If you have never stayed in a floating home, now is the time. So peaceful in the mornings, the perfect spot to swim right off the dock, there are no adequate words to describe how relaxing this spot is!
