The Deluxe King Suite is a spacious guest room featuring a king bed with a pillow top mattress. Included in this suite is free wifi, a comfortable seating area, and the communal kitchen located down the hall. It has its own private bathroom with shower, mini-fridge, and walnut counter top. While we allow pets in some rooms, this suite is not pet friendly. Independently owned and thoughtfully restored, the Norblad was built in 1923 and is the longest running hotel on the west coast. This minimal hotel is intentionally curated with value in mind. Each room features carefully chosen finishes with high-quality pieces throughout while keeping the feel laid-back and comfortable. The Norblad is truly in the heart of downtown Astoria - situated within one block of breweries - such as Fort George Brewery, distilleries, pubs, and restaurants. Guests will be able to schedule a check-in time with our front desk. After check-in, guests will be able to come and go from the hotel with key access. While the Norblad Hotel is a unique place, it is still a hotel. Guests will be able to interact and have any questions answered via the front desk during regular business hours or be able to contact an on-call staff member by an after hours phone number. Guests will also be able to contact the host/Norblad Hotel via AirBnB messenger at any time. We are in the heart of downtown Astoria! You cannot ask for a better location. Just steps from the front door of the hotel you can walk to Fort George Brewery and Public House, several other breweries, restaurants, pubs, food carts, and much more - all within a few blocks of the hotel. We do have a transit center in town that operates regular buses to and from Portland.
