Located in a guard-gated community, this recently redone home checks all the boxes for an unforgettable desert vacation. Inside you will be greeted by a sizable gourmet kitchen with a full wet bar that features a window to the backyard so you can pass margaritas to your friends and family while they lounge by the pool. A family room with a brand new pool table, flat-screen TVs in every room, a separate formal dining area, and an indoor fireplace means it will never be challenging to partake in group activities. But if you need a retreat, there’s always the spacious master bedroom with a full walk-in closet and jacuzzi bathtub. Outside you’ll find ample room to stretch out, layout, and hang out. Beyond the stacked rock jacuzzi that spills over into the pool, the outdoor living space boasts unobstructed views of the mountains that border the Coachella Valley and Lake La Quinta, a man-made water oasis in the middle of the California desert. The home features its own lake access. Enjoy a late-night dip in the jacuzzi followed by s’mores around the outdoor fire pit or a movie night inside. Let us know if you need one and we will have it delivered after check-in. The home features its own lake access and pontoon boat available to guests throughout their stay. (Must sign Lakeside La Quinta Boat Release Form) Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park. This is a gated community where short term rentals are not permitted (only 30+), and the community is very walkable. There will be no one else on the property, other than the occasional gardener and pool man, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance. One complimentary mid-stay cleaning is offered every 30 days. Additional cleanings may be arranged with the Reservations Department at an extra cost. The Open Air Homes team is dedicated to making sure you have a great experience staying with us! We use a centralized texting service and have an international team so that we can provide you with 24/7 communication. You can rest assured that someone from the Open Air team will be there should you need us at any hour of the night. La Quinta is a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to call home. The community has voted against short term rentals, unlike Palm Springs, and so there is more of a community feel to the area. The area is perfect for biking and hiking, and has great restaurants a few blocks away. The cove refers to the community nestled in the mountains, so the area is well protected from the wind. This is a perfect family friendly neighborhood to enjoy your vacation! This home is located in a private community, and features a beautiful lake and mountain views. We recommend walking around the community in the morning and early evening once the sun sets over the mountain, to really feel like you are a local. Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car. If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well. Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience. - By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement. - You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement. - Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company. Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed! Our goal is to provide unforgettable, relaxing vacations to our guests, and we aim to take care of all of the needs of this property before you step foot in the home. This property has a private pool/spa that can be heated during your stay. The nightly rate for this option is $50 to heat to a standard temperature of 82 degrees. It is an additional $30/day to heat to 85 degrees and an additional $75/day to heat to 90 degrees. This is billed separately and must be confirmed and paid prior to arrival. Please let us know at the time of booking if you choose this option. This additional heating fee is subject to local taxes. *Minimum 2-days of heat required There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out. PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For 30+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.
