This cottage sleeps four people in the luxury Queen bed and day bed trundle that includes an XL twin bed. Whether you crave a quiet getaway, a central location to discover local scenic and historic attractions, or need a base for hunting, this is the perfect spot. The space Guests have exclusive access to the stand alone one room Cottage as well as shared access to the picnic tables and swing set in the back yard. Carol’s Cottage is a separate building next to and on the same property as the owners home. Other things to note Like many homes in this high elevation valley, Carol’s Cottage relies on natural building methods to keep cool. Thick insulated walls keep the cottage cool during warm days when windows are closed. After the sun drops, windows are opened for the cool night breezes. A fan is also provided. Our adjacent home relies on the same natural cooling method and we find we stay very comfortable in the summer. A gas wall furnace provides heat in the cold months for a cozy space.
