Nell's Bungalow
Featuring a newly remodeled interior with a rustic flair, Nell's Bungalow is a studio guest house offering a guest parking spot and semi-private courtyard for morning coffee or evening libations. A small, complete kitchen are adjacent to a dining table below a picture window with sunset views. A log frame bed invites guests for a cozy rest and home base whether you're visiting on business, attending events, high school activities or exploring the area's recreational opportunities. We re-purposed approximately 60% of the wood in our remodel and hand-stained all the boards in this 200 square foot space. The hand-hewn log bed supports a brand new firm mattress. The kitchen features a butcher block counter top and 4-burner stove and is apportioned with a variety of cooking, table and drinkware. Local artists' works adorn the walls and the sconces add a warm glow. In addition, an aromatherapy diffuser is available for guests. Note, the laminate flooring can be cool - bring slippers or extra socks! The entire bungalow is the guest's to use along with the immediately adjacent semi-private patio. My small family and dog enjoy the backyard adjacent to the bungalow with a garden spot, hot tub and trampoline. These items are not included with the bungalow. Available most times We are four blocks to downtown including The Fix Coffee Shop, Dirty Rooster Laundry, Dome Theater and Cabinet Mountain Brewing; and a half-mile to the Kootenai River as well as access to the area trail system along Libby Creek. Amtrak is just blocks away as is Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. Small town, friendly neighborhoods, easy walking to most everything and most importantly minutes to amazing recreational opportunities. Nell's Bungalow offers a great launch point for biking or walking. We have a small-medium dog that is super friendly. A firm "down" will help remind him not to jump. Please keep the gate closed for your comings and goings.
