Cottage in Quaint East Texas Historic Town

Nestled in this quaint historic town of San Augustine, this cottage is a charmer! Located a block from downtown, it has 3 bedrooms/3 baths, formals plus a cozy upstairs den. Perfect for a family or for a couple just looking for an escape. Not only does San Augustine claim to be the oldest town in Texas, with the Mission Dolores Spanish mission built in 1721, the Historic Lewis Hotel and the Historic Jail, we sit right between the two most beautiful reservoirs, Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend. The space The cottage has a warm and cozy feel and you will feel comfortable right away! The sun room is just perfect for reading or if you prefer outside, a beautiful courtyard. The cottage also has an attached garage, so convenient on those rainy days! Entertainment: The cottage has three televisions - one large tv in the downstairs living room, one in the upstairs den and one in the master bedroom. All televisions have ROKU streaming devices which can be used with your Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or cable streaming service. We of course have WiFi with AT&T and believe it is the best in the area! Guest access The entire cottage is available to the guests. Other things to note We have added a fire pit, some starter charcoal and some wood. All you have to do is bring the s'mores! I also have a guidebook located in the cottage with information on historical attractions, restaurants, shopping, and other important information in the community.
