How about a touch of country? This is a 16'X80' mobile home in the country, peaceful and quiet surroundings. It is my daughter's home and still has most of her things inside. A canoe rental is 3 miles away, the 49 Flea Market with A/C and about 300 inside booths is 8 miles, open Fri. & Sat., as well as Paul B Johnson State Park. The casinos on the Gulf Coast are approx. 45 miles. Hattiesburg is approx. 20 miles and offers almost anything: food & unlimited shopping. You will have access to the entire home without being bothered and can come and go as you please. I request that you let me know when you are leaving and return the key to me. The home is located at the Forrest/Perry County line and has a big oak tree standing near the road with 2 mail boxes attached. Check in is any time after 2:00 p.m., check out is 11:00 a.m. I will be there to provide you the key. My home is beside the trailer and I will be available most of the time if you have any questions or need anything that is not there. This place is the best kept secret in Brooklyn, just far enough from the big town for easy living. There is a really good small cafe about 7 miles from here in the Janice Community with a gas station, a Dollar General and a Subway four miles, just across Hwy 49, with Circle K gas station. Brooklyn also has a few surprises of its own. One quarter mile is a Methodist Protestant Church, three miles to a Baptist Church, seven miles to another Baptist church. This is a wonderful place to live or spend a little time.. You can also find good fishing holes and even swimming spots in the nearby creek. A nice walking trail is in the Brooklyn Community Center, about 5 miles. There is a disc golf about 5 miles at Ashe Lake.
