Stay and play on the South Fork American River, the most popular river in California, and see where the Gold Rush began in 1848. We are located below the rapids for tubing and floating fun and within walking distance to the Marshall Gold Discovery State park, whitewater rafting tours, wine tasting and more. Your vacation is waiting! ~ See you soon~ The space When you reserve the Villa you will get 5 gated acres of riverfront property with 8 fully furnished historical cottages including the fully furnished main home with above ground pool. The advertised price is for up to 26 guests and it is $15 per person per night after 26. The maximum indoor occupancy is 36. The maximum overnight property occupancy with camping is 50. Please inquire about tent camping, outdoor space and "day use" occupancy for up to 100 people. Pets are allowed with pre-approval and a $15 pet fee per pet, per night. Please disregard airbnb no fee for pets and extra guests' comments. They do not have an option that fits our requirements. Please send photo and description of your pet(s) for approval. All cottages have fully stocked kitchens, with a full size coffee pot in 7 & 8 plus Keurig coffee makers and coffee pods in all. The River Studio cottage has an outdoor toilet next to the front door. There is also a shower house, with another toilet and sink about 100 feet away for the studio and your group. Altogether there are 13 bedrooms with 3 king beds, 7 queen beds, 4 futons, a sofa bed & 3 twin over full bunk beds and 1 full over full bunk bed. Our riverfront property comes complete with charcoal BBQ's at each cottage, a horse-shoe pit, a bon fire pit, washers and dryers and an above ground pool at the Casa de las Rocas Azules cottage. The property is mostly natural landscape with dry grass in the summer months and new grass by the Riverhaus and Rio Azul. The South Fork American river is dam controlled and water levels may vary. Weekend levels are best for rafting and tubing. Late Summer weekday levels can sometimes be "creek like" and fun for exploring.
