A true gem of a house with two bedrooms, each with its own unique decor, and numerous amenities in San Antonio, Fla., close to Saint Leo University, the shops of Dade City and the state's best roads for cycling. This pet-free home is a comfortable fit for a single person or a couple. The space I renovated this house, originally built in the 1930s, with lots of modern conveniences while preserving its rustic character. You'll spot unique details, including pecky cypress paneling in the living room and original linoleum flooring in the second bedroom. The updated kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric stove, microwave, large refrigerator and coffee maker (percolator and K Cup). Coffee and tea are provided. You're welcome to use the staples and spices in the kitchen if you cook during your stay, but do plan on bringing your own food. You'll find plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Large, front-loading washer and dryer are available for your convenience. The smart TV receives network channels. You'll need to sign in with your own Netflix or other streaming accounts. The house has ample closets, areas to read, watch TV and enjoy a meal, books to peruse, first aid supplies and other toiletries in the bathroom linen closet. My family and I use the house for occasional getaways. We ask that you not disturb our belongings but otherwise make yourself comfortable and enjoy our beloved home.
