Welcome to your haven of peace on the banks of the Red River! This rustic chalet is located just 25 km from Mont-Tremblant resort and 15 minutes from the village of Saint-Jovite. The ground floor is the common space of choice with a large dining room, a bathroom, and a warm living room thanks to the huge fireplace made of stones. You can navigate the river in a canoe, bathe in its cool waters and even put your feet in the fine sand. Then, why not take advantage of the large lot to share an outdoor meal or to build a campfire? Or if you feel rather homey during the winter months, enjoy the warmth of the living room fireplace. If you want a little action, you'll find everything in Mont-Tremblant just a short drive away. But if you are looking for tranquility, stay put, you have already found it! The cottage is located between the villages of Brébeuf and La Conception (two neighbouring towns of Mont-Tremblant). Brébeuf is known in the region for organic farming and you can visit some organic farms there who will be delighted to share their passion with you. If you are more sporty and adventurous, the Montagne d'Argent Climbing and Hiking Park is the place to experience strong emotions. Come take the time to breathe in Le Havre de la Rouge. We are waiting for you! You will have access to the entire chalet as well as to all the part of the land which is in front of and behind it. You will find an outdoor relaxation area and a fire pit. You will also have easy access to the river thanks to wooden steps that lead to a dock. In summer, you can cross to a small sandy island perfect for swimming (varies according to the water level of the river) and where children love to have fun. The barn as well as the part of the land which is on the other side of it is not accessible to guests. The internet connection is good and stable. This is a satellite internet up to 25 mbps, which is enough to have a Zoom conference with video! Please note: the dock will only be put in the water if the water level of the river allows it and if swimming is safe. If the river is too high, the dock will be out of the water, but you can access the river from the bank. No financial compensation will be granted if the dock is out of the water during your stay.
