Modest rustic charm with knotty pine, stone fireplace, old style and faded carpeting, but it is very clean and cozy. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, excellent Wi-Fi, big screen TV and large selection of dvds. Please understand infants and small children are not recommended. This classic country home is very large with high ceilings, roomy and always kept clean. Activities in the area include the wine tasting trail, Mt biking, hiking, kayaking, river rafting and fishing. The American river only 15 minutes away. You will have full use of the home's first floor and loft area. The two bedrooms upstairs and are locked and unoccupied. Guests will have full access to the 8 acre property, and will have the cabin to themselves. Your host Christo maintains residency in another building on the property and occasionally may be home but allowing the guests their complete privacy is very important to Christo. As your host I am available by email, text or phone every day so please do not hesitate to call or text me with any questions or issues. Located below the snowline and only 50 minutes to skiing areas. It is a very quiet location, with most people in the area retired and no visible neighbors. There is a great little diner nearby called the Dine & Dash, good food and drinks. The American river nearby is a nice place to go swimming and hiking. The nearest grocery store is 7 miles in Colfax.
