La Paloma (El Zocalo)

Situated on one of the most beautiful parts of the Frio River, La Paloma is a delightful retreat lower part of a duplex that is shared with the other rental properties on seven acres. Garner State Park is only a few minutes away but you may find it difficult to leave the tranquility of La Paloma as it’s a great place to just leave the world behind. Guests can enter the public river float entrance (Magers Crossing)1 mile to enjoy a 2 hour float directly to your private pathway to the guesthouse. The space La Paloma is a single bedroom guesthouse that sits above the river with a private pathway down to the water. The house opens out onto a large deck on one side and a patio for cooking on the other. The living area/kitchenette has a TV/Firestick double sleeper sofa, dining table and fully equipped kitchen encompassing one large room. The bedroom has a Queen bed, His & Her Closet, and a bathroom with a large walk in shower. Amenities include Wifi, Internet TV, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, chiminea, a charcoal grill on the patio and central air and heat. All bed and bath linens are supplied. No telephone but good cell coverage on AT&T.
