Description
Come and stay in an authentic Adobe home on a historic working cattle ranch! The home overlooks the beautiful Gila River and is nestled in some of the most amazing saguaro studded mountains. This home is located near the Arizona Trail head, and some incredible outdoor sports like kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding, ATV riding and mountain biking. The A Diamond Ranch is just a short drive away from Kearny and Superior where you can visit local restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. The space The entire home and mesquite fenced yard is yours to use during your stay. Just beyond the fence you have river access and adventure! The Important Details: This is a working cattle ranch and you are staying in a historic home. While we have worked hard to restore this home and create a peaceful place for you to stay, there will be issues that come up just like any home. For instance, sometimes the pipes freeze in the winter time- it does not happen often but it has happened and will happen again. Because this is an old home, there is not a lot that I can do to change this, but I want to make you aware that it is a possibility. In the hotter months, the water out of the tap can be on the warmer side- we are in the Arizona desert and there is little I can do to change this. Additionally, our power is serviced by the San Carlos Irrigation Project and will go out during severe storms- again this is out of my control, but I do my best to keep guests updated, as well as keep flashlights and candles in the home for your use. If any issues arise, my husband and I will work hard to take care of them in a timely manner. We both work in addition to owning/operating these homes, so please keep that in mind. This ranch is located on 22,000 acres in the Sonoran desert. Guests will have to drive approximately 3.5 miles on a dirt road to access the house. It is a rustic environment but the home is equipped with all the modern amenities. We do not board horses or allow guests to ride our horses. There are three homes on this ranch- one is mine (the owner), and the other is another vacation rental property. Each home has plenty of space and privacy. Each home also has a fully fenced yard. The home does have access to the Gila river- keep in mind that you need to watch for snakes and other animals depending on the time of year. Swimming/Fishing is allowed: guests swim and fish at their own risk, and understand that the State of Arizona requires you to hold a fishing license. We do not provide fishing gear, kayaks, or bikes during your stay. Those items can be rented or purchased in Apache Junction. Guest access You have the entire home and yard for your use. We encourage you to explore the ranch but ask that you give the other rental property plenty of personal space. Please park directly in front of the home- you have the entire driveway to use.
