Comfortable newly renovated entire apartment located on beautiful property.The apartment is located on property with the owners but is separate from the main house. It has been renovated recently with new flooring,new ceilings,and freshly painted. The apartment is located on 4 acres of property which allows guests to walk around back on a small trail in the woods. NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. The property surrounding the apartment has three large gardens, where guests may pick veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and more! There is also an open area where you may set up chairs to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have a cat named Lucy who likes to roam the property as well. She spends most of her time outside but is a bit skittish. She may come around if she is curious enough! PLEASE NOTE: with limited space in the driveway, we ask that guests arrive with no more than 2 vehicles. When you arrive please park close to the apartment one behind the other to avoid getting blocked in by the owners or visitors. Please use middle door with Welcome mat in front of it to access the unit. All the other doors are located and so not provide access. Owners will be around 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. We are located on a main county road, but the apartment is towards the back of the property. When you arrive please park close to the apartment one behind the other to avoid getting blocked in by the owners or visitors. Your woodsy escape is just two hours from NYC to our apartment located on a main county road in Sullivan County near Bethel Woods (about 20 minutes away) and Kadampa Temple (just down the road). Enjoy a scenic drive along the famous Hawks Nest road with lots of small pullovers to take pictures from and enjoy the views. Here you will find the protected Upper Delaware River, streams for hiking, fishing, river rafting, canoeing, antiquing and local arts. The quiet area also allows for great bike rides along roads with minimal cars driving on them. We also have a park named Circle Park about a mile away which offers a stream in the back, many toys for kids to play on, mini golf and a basketball court. We are located just 15 minutes from Barryville NY which has a vast amount of activities to enjoy. There are many rafting/canoeing places along with the Barryville-Shohola bridge which separates NY and PA. This bridge allows you to walk through and enjoy a beautiful view of the Delaware river. Barryville also provides many places to eat and enjoy some delicious ice cream! We are also located just 10 minutes to Eldred NY which provides all you need with a pizza place, grocery store, library, Dollar General and more! Surrounded by beautiful trees and nature the 4-acre property includes a grill, large out door table, plenty of space to play outdoor games, a large woodsy area in the back to set up chairs, and plenty of gardens to enjoy delicious fresh fruits and veggies. We live less than half a mile (walking distance) to Pete’s Country Store where you can get gas, propane, ice, snacks and more. Come kick back, relax and enjoy the fresh country air!
