Description
This is a beautiful colonial farmhouse built in the 1800's. It's been renovated 2 times and is decorated with antiques dating back before and during (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Minute walk to downtown Westport, 20 Minute walk to Compo Beach. Great for cozy getaways. The space When you walk into the house you'll see a staircase, bedrooms are upstairs. There's a third floor with a lofted / converted bedroom as well. Downstairs you'll find a nice living room with a fireplace that has been with the house since it's creation in 1898. Should you feel adventurous or want to have a nice cozy fire, we've left you dry firewood to use. Please make sure the you open the flue prior to starting a fire. After the fire is completely out please close the flue so that you stay warm. Guest access All of the residence exclusive of the front sunroom and the basement. Other things to note If you want to get out for a bit, there are movie theaters in the area, Westport Country Playhouse (created and envisioned by the Newman family), Compo Beach (although it may be a little cold depending on if it's winter), Winslow Park, and as you know, Downtown main street Westport.
