Guest access In addition to the Loft, guests also have access to maintained trails throughout the property. Our 96-acre property includes fields and wetlands as well as wooded hills and has been actively managed for the last decade to re-introduce native species and create natural habitat for wildlife of all kinds. Feel free to explore, we only ask that you respect the privacy of the yards surrounding the other homes on the farm. I hope you enjoy the beauty of the property as much as we do! Other things to note We are out in the country and that means wildlife is everywhere! You will likely see deer feeding in the fields during the morning and evening hours. We have chickens so don't be surprised if you hear them or see them foraging for bugs on the trails. During late spring and summer, you will even hear the whippoorwills singing at night. We do have a young dog who is friendly and well behaved. He doesn't jump on people, but he does love to be petted. We also have a few farm cats who you'll probably see out hunting in the fields, but they are unlikely to approach you. If you really do not like dogs and want to make sure they do not approach you, please let us know and we will take extra care at your request.
