Unlike a hotel, this cozy, personalized home offers an authentic experience. No parties allowed, but plenty of relaxation awaits! Built in the late 1950s when this neighborhood was developed, our home retains much of its original character and nostalgic charm. Natural light floods the open spaces, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow that invites you to embrace the quintessential California lifestyle. Unwind by the large pool (unheated) or soak in the above ground hot tub, surrounded by lush greenery. Unlike a traditional hotel or standard short term rental, our home promises a truly authentic and personalized experience. As our full-time residence, you'll experience the warmth and character of a well-loved property. This also means that our personal touches like family photos and unique collections, are scattered throughout. Closet space is not available and some things might be a little rough around the edges, but we think that's what makes it special! The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The two additional bedrooms are separate from the communal areas and provide ample room for families or groups of friends. There is a large living room, where the attached vintage bar area sets the stage for lively conversations and memorable moments. There is a formal dining room adjacent to the living room or you can opt for lazy meals and games in the cozy breakfast nook directly off the kitchen. Through the sliding glass doors, you'll discover our favorite hangout – the backyard, a true oasis in our (humble) opinion. Dine alfresco at the covered dining table, lounge on the outdoor couches, or sway gently in the hanging chair, soaking up the California sun. Sun chasers can bask on the chaises, while the outdoor shower offers a nice rinse or cool down after a dip in the pool or hot tub. This house offers the perfect base for your Los Angeles adventures. We are centrally located in the safe and friendly neighborhood of Baldwin Hills Estates. We are not walking distance from restaurants or groceries but everything is only minutes away. With easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways, you'll find yourself just a stone's throw away from the downtown scene, the bustle of Culver City, sandy beaches, and iconic Hollywood hills. We would love to host you. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house and outdoor spaces except for the garage, we use that for our personal storage.
