The Stevens Studio - Historic Downtown Lancaster

The ‘Stevens Studio’ is named in honor of Thaddeus Steves, the adamant abolitionist, member of Congress and Lancastrian who moved here in 1842. Built in 1888, and located in the historic Ross neighborhood, this private studio is a short walk to Penn Square and the Lancaster Convention Center. This turn-of-the century, American classic is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Lancaster with easy access to everything throughout the historic district. The space The Stevens Studio was recently restored with tasteful touches throughout. The space hints to a past when things were simpler while highlighting the creature comforts one demands of today's modern spaces. Recessed lighting, hardwood floors, and high quality linens ensure a good night's rest, while the smart tv and high speed internet provide travelers the peace of mind of staying connected. The home is filled with light throughout and offers enough space for four guests to enjoy comfortably, The space is professionally cleaned and cared for, and we work to ensure your experience in staying with us is the absolute very best. Guest access The Stevens Studio is easily accessed by the front left door. All areas of the home are secure. The entrance and studio apartment is private and the laundry room and rear outdoor space is shared with other on-premise apartment homes. Other things to note *** THE BASICS *** a. FIRE EXTINGUISHER - located below the kitchen sink b. EMERGENCIES - Dial 911, then contact Airbnb c. ELECTRONIC KEYED ENTRY - located on the front door (see Airbnb check-in link) d. INTERNET/WIFI - Access to Netflix, Amazon, Xfinity through the app e. CABLE - Internet connection only f. RECYCLING - Yellow lid container located in the rear yard of home. g. TRASH - Place any bagged trash to be thrown away in the receptacles. If trash can is full, place trash next to receptacles. h. HEAT/AC - Heating and cooling is pre-set in the studio apartment i. QUIET HOURS - The row home has shared walls with our neighbors and other apartment homes on the premise. Please be mindful of quiet hours between 9:00 PM and 8:00AM. j. ADDITIONAL GUESTS - The home can accommodate up to four guests. For accurate pricing, ensure the number guests staying in the home are represented in your reservation. k. SHARED AREAS - Patio and laundry areas may be shared with other guests l. PARKING - Visitor parking permits are available in front of the home on Duke St. for $2 per day. Please register your vehicle online prior to your arrival at via the Lancaster Parking Authority website. Once registered, you can park at any metered parking space on Duke St for the days purchased. Secure covered parking is also available one block away in the Queen Street Parking Garage located at 424 N. Queen St. The cost is $15 for every 24 hour period. *** OF COURTESY *** a.
