Entire apartment inside a conveniently located home minutes from INOVA Hosptial. The apartment has 1 or 2 bedrooms with walk-in closet, living room with sleep sofa, a full bathroom with tub and shower, and a dining/conference room/office or 2nd bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette. All new furnishings - with 55" Roku television. The dining room can be converted to a bedroom. Request link for video tour. Guest access The garage comes with the apartment. It enters the main floor of the house and there is a staircase leading to the garage. There is also a back staircase outside but it is not as convenient. During your stay My guests tend to socialize with each other. Other things to note The basement apartment is designed to offer a pretty, comfortable and enjoyable private space for travelers. My guests are happy here because I strive to make people feel welcome. We are not overly fussy but the house is well kept, beautifully decorated with durable pieces. It is dog friendly and designed to stand-up to dogs as long as we don't have excessive issues (furniture ripping apart!). Guests can hang out with others or enjoy total privacy. Normally after a few weeks guests are finding commonalities with others and some walk together, go explore DC or others, hike, watch movies. Some help each other with dog feeding. The house has 8 televisions but there are a few communal areas to share a movie. The house and yard are quite large and sits on a double lot. The backyard is completely fenced-in and escape-proof unless a pet can jump 6 feet! . I let the guest dogs play together when owner is out if everyone is friendly. I work from home and live in the upstairs.
