The space This 1930's beach bungalow was painstakingly renovated over 2.5 years. This exceptional 3BR/1BA home is situated on Milford's private Cedar Beach and lies within close walking distance to the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point (bird & wildlife watching & education center). The owners use their experience hosting other short term rentals in Savannah, GA & Nantucket, MA to provide for a top-notch guest experience at this property. This property is special to us as we grew up on Cedar Beach. We were inspired by Nantucket's quintessential architecture when designing this home, and endearingly call this house "Little Nantucket". The wood wainscoting on the living room & bedroom walls and ceilings are original -- restoring them to their original beauty was quite a process! We added details that the most discerning renters desire including: - 2 Bedrooms with queen beds. The four season front porch & lounge functions as an optional 3rd bedroom with 2 daybeds equipped with twin memory foam mattresses.
