This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view. The space This is a historical log cabin with some remaining walls of hand carved chinking. There is a gas fireplace and live edge countertop. The main floor has the master bedroom and half bath. The spiral stairs leads down to a restroom with shower, walking out to a nice bonfire space and small hot tub under the porch with a beautiful view of the river. This log cabin is simple, charming and rustic and has everything necessary for a couple to enjoy a beautiful Michigan experience. Some favorite activities are: kayaking, fishing, and playing on the sandbar. There are also some fantastic hiking trails nearby. The hot tub is open to enjoy the views of the river during the day and stargazing at night. Guest access Guests have full access to the house, yard, and river. There are four kayaks available for use. Other things to note There is bonfire wood available at the gas station nearby for purchase. Parking is limited to 4 cars.
