5 bedroom house on a scenic 7.5 acres with a pond and a tree house The space The house sits on 7 1/2 acres with a pond. It is very peaceful and a beautiful setting. The 5 bedrooms and both bathrooms are upstairs. The house is yours. Lisa and Sue live in a separate area. There are no shared spaces except for a driveway but you have your own parking. Lisa has a 4 yr old Rottweiler rescue named Ava. She is fenced or leashed while we have guests. She is curious about our guests so you may hear her bark. She settles down and is well behaved. She is not accustomed to children so I am cautious in those situations. Important note: The house is on a slow recovery well (that pumps into a holding tank so we can monitor it). We asks guests to be considerate of water consumption. i.e. Everyone can shower but I would not advise doing laundry or other water consuming activities at the same time. That is really the limitation. That being said, we raised a family of 6 and never had a problem. I just like to mention it because it in a rare case it may be a problem. Guest access The whole house is yours. There are no shared spaces. There are no unregistered guests allowed on property. If you would like to meet up with people while in the area, please do so at another location. This is a new rule this year. We have in the past allowed it and have been disappointed time and time again with the way the house was left and things that happened while guests were here. Two guests are allowed if they are grandparents but that is the only exception. Please remember both bathrooms are upstairs and no shoes are allowed on the rug (upstairs). No more than 2 “grand” guests. No exceptions. Other things to note All guests must be 21, unless accompanied by an adult. Please tell us a little about yourself and what brings you to our Airbnb when requesting the dates. Also be sure you have the correct number of guests registered. The default is 1. We will send the welcome letter a day ahead of your reservation.
