Recently remodeled green home in East Bay

We love this house and this neighborhood, which is close to all the action in the Bay Area, but quiet, safe, and surrounded by open space. We have a huge yard and gardens. There is great hiking out right from the door, and even a small vineyard and orchard up the street-- a nice green mecca adjacent to a world class city. You'll love staying here! The space Mid-century home with hardwood floors and sunny spacious rooms. -We have a large fenced in backyard, with a shaded patio and large deck, gas grill, raised beds with veggies. -The house has a gas fireplace, well-insulated and cozy but additional electric space heaters if you get cold. -Chemex and stovetop italian espresso pot for making coffee. - All paint with zero-VOC, chemical-free cleaning products, and organic cotton sheets. -We have high speed wireless internet, but no TV, no cable. -We are across the street from 90 acre park with hiking trails and expansive views of the bay, SF skyline, GG bridge, etc. -We are two blocks from huge park/new playground/soccer field/ball field/lit tennis courts, and community center with a beautiful outdoor pool. -Very close to dozens of authentic and delicious Asian food (Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, and Korean) restaurants, Trader Joes, Natural Grocery Store, neighborhood Italian grocer. Since the house was remodeled, we haven't yet taken new photos, so here's the deal: -1 new master bathroom with walk in shower, double sink -1 remodeled full bathroom with soaking tub and shower -all floors refinished -1 kids room with single bed and loft bed -1 guestroom/office with single bed -pull-out sofa in garage -washer/dryer are available -solar power, new water heater, new ventilation system PLEASE NOTE: We live here and only rent the house when we are out of town. We've had trouble with kid guests in the past, so prefer no kids but willing to make exceptions for older or very young kids. Looking for guests who need neighborhood lodging over the holidays. Guest access Guest can access the whole house, but since we live here, our clothes and personal items are in the closets and dressers, which we ask that you do not disturb.
