Renovated Lakefront Kawartha Cottage (4 SEASONS)

Right in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes lies this renovated four season lakefront cottage right on Pigeon Lake. The four bedroom cottage can sleep up to 8 people in a 4 bedroom setup with 2 full bathrooms. It is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen with a large sectional couch and a table that is perfect for entertaining a large family. Enjoy the fresh air outdoors with activities such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, firepit, bbqing and much more! **Construction delays on deck steps** The space Cottaging can be new to some people. I have put together an online guide on how to use this cottage once you have booked your stay. This is a renovated space but please be gentle on the property as guests last year have almost broken everything I had newly purchased. A damage deposit is required via Airbnb. Guests are required to bring their own bathing towels, firewood and take home their garbage/recycling. Pigeon Lake can be weedy in some areas in the summer making it hard to swim however you can take a boat out to deeper areas to swim or off of an adjacent island. Fishing is great in this lake, namely for bass but please pay attention to Provincial regulations on fishing. You must have a fishing license if you are fishing and a boating license if you are driving a motored boat. The cottage is fit for four seasons with baseboard heating controls in each bedroom for the winter and one large a/c unit in the great room and fans in each bedroom for the summer. The dock is usually lifted around October just before winter freezes the lake and put back down around April when winter is fully over. Starlink Satelite WIFI is available for those who need to work or just need to do some casual searching or enjoy some streaming off of Netflix. The speed is approximately 50-100MBPS download and 20-30MBPS upload. Cellphone reception is around 1-3 bars depending on your provider. Other things to note Please adhere to all local and provincial health guidelines. Due to permit delays, the sliding door steps have yet to be built but will not affect your stay.
