All Airbnb’s are not alike. We’re more of a destination Cottage , if you love nature, want to relax, this is it! I Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint town of Reedsville, restaurants , shops and a unique Amish community. Beautiful gardens add to the charm….flower beds show off the late summer and fall plantings along with the peace and tranquility of Honey Creek! We are located close to the village of Reedsville. Several state parks are also close by. Views from the porches and covered outdoor areas always offer a surprise. There is seating for outdoor eating, a fire pit and gas grill for your convenience. We also have a charging station for electric cars you are welcome to use during your visit. The picnic area has a table and shelving to place a crockpot or other cooking supplies. Inside the Cottage there is a bath, a full kitchen with all the utensils you will need to cook indoors or on either grill, a living room with queen sofa bed, and a dining room, and upstairs you will find a bedroom with queen bed and sitting area, a full bath and a small deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a late evening glass of wine! Minimum age is 21.Guests have access to entire house and all outdoor porches and picnic areas. We live close by and someone will be available to answer any of your questions. There are many local parks, antique shops and eateries to enjoy. Being in the heart of the Amish community, we get to enjoy their unique culture and fresh baked goods and woodworking craftsmanship. The Belleville and Allensville areas both offer museums to explore and learn about the local culture. Please remember they travel by horse and buggy ... be careful when driving and courteous of their culture. We are also just 25 minutes from State College and all it has to offer. There is onsite parking and a charging station for guests EVs Fishing is plentiful even in colder weather and a brisk hike is always in season!
