A great place to stay any time of year Situated in a wooded setting on 10.5 acres this beautifully hand crafted home offers a great outdoor environment and many amenities including a mini indoor heated pool, sauna, two fireplaces, cathedral wood ceiling great room and dining area, spacious deck and private fire pit. Four private bedrooms, two of which have fireplaces in them and all with beautiful wood views. Three nature paths are available for taking walks. The space The location is conveniently located within 3 miles of shopping and numerous restaurants. Only 35 minutes from Madison, one hour from Milwaukee and two hours from Chicago this location makes the perfect country get away. Ample parking is available and boat landings as close as two miles from the home. The Rock river and numerous lakes are in the area. Fun wineries microbreweries and restaurants are nearby. The history of this home is as follows it was created by two artists my dad Richard an interior designer and amazing water color artist and my mom Nancy Belle an artist who did water colors oil painting and etchings. My father designed the home in a Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie concept design. Sprinkled through out the home are examples of their artistic talents. An extremely expansive library awaits you with great works covering all ages of history and art.
